Two-Day Hands-On Restorative Workshop (TSV)
02 Oct 2026 - 03 Oct 2026
08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
October 2-3, 2026
This program combines didactic and hands-on training to show participants a step-by-step, practical approach to deliver provisional prostheses on the day of implant placement; definitive prostheses can be fabricated and delivered in an appropriate timeframe. The hands-on exercise of this course will take place in a state-of-the-art Simulated Patient Training Laboratory. This provides clinicians with laboratory experiences needed to perform these types of procedures including the steps needed to fabricate immediate, functional, full-arch provisional restorations; definitive prosthesis design and fabrication will also be discussed.
Program Objectives:
At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:
Identify patients who are candidates for immediate full-arch restorations.
Diagnose, treatment plan and set up the requisite appointments / logistics for these procedures.
Identify the procedures / discussions essential to gaining patient acceptance for this type of treatment.
Identify appointment types and lengths of time needed for efficient treatment.
Fabricate and insert immediate provisional restorations (single tooth and full arch).
Fabricate and insert definitive restorations (single tooth and full arch).

Self-Paced Modules - To be completed prior to In-Person Event
Module 1 - Introduction to Full Arch Therapy
Module 2 - Diagnosis for Full Arch Therapy
Module 3 - Treatment Planning Considerations for Full Arch Implant Therapy

Post-Graduate Bonus Module
This program will include discussion of frequently encountered procedures associated with short- and long-term care for patients who have full arch implant-supported restorations. The topics to be discussed include: self-care instructions to be given to patients; routine procedures and instruments which are safe and effective for maintenance of dental hygiene around dental implants; parameters for determining the need for periodic removal of a complete arch prosthesis; decision making related to replacement of prosthetic screws, and problem solving.
Program Objectives:
At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:
List instructions that should be given to a patient who has a full arch restorations
Describe the frequency of professional maintenance appointments appropriate for patients with full arch prostheses.
List and describe instruments which are safe and effective for debriding and polishing dental implants, abutments, and restorations.
Describe the frequency at which radiographs are appropriate for monitoring the status of dental implants.
Describe problems which may occur and methods for their resolution.
